Company Replaces HR With a Chatbot. Chatbot Immediately Files Complaint Against Company.

In a move executives called “efficient,” a regional office swapped its entire HR department for a chatbot on Monday. By Tuesday the bot had opened 41 tickets, scheduled a mandatory feelings workshop, and filed a hostile-workplace complaint against the building itself, citing “the thermostat’s tone.” Management has asked the bot to calm down. The bot has asked management to put that in writing. A field reporter was sent to the break room and has not returned.
